  • Former student Richard Abiona is making a big name in Ghana as the person behind the new craze, Azonto.

Using his stage name Fuse he was featured on Choice F.M. this Saturday. The track features Ghanaian star Tiffany who provides some of the vocal for this catchy music.

Richard took part in many musical performances whilst at college. After completing his Business Degree course at City University founded London Mobile Studios whilst continuing to perform live in London and Ghana as Fuse. He was the first winner of the Student Community Award (picture) and has gone on to run a number of musical courses for young people on behalf of Mitcham Council with his company ‘off da ground’.

Richard has been well prepared for his current career as he studied Music Technology AS along with his BTEC Business course. Look out for this up and coming musical talent.

Note: The current popular track ‘Azonto’ was mastered by our own Music Team Leader Mike Goodlet. Will this successful collaboration produce music success in the future?
