Excellent Pastoral CareAt Coulsdon Sixth Form College you will be treated as an adult and will be offered all the support you need to ensure that you succeed. You will be assigned a Personal Tutor who will meet with you each week for tutorial and will also be there for advice if you have a personal problem. If your tutor is unable to help, they will know who can as the college works closely with other services who can support and advise you about careers, finance, health and welfare. Learning SupportThe support on offer is varied and made to meet individual needs. It could range from additional teaching by a specialist, to the loan of a laptop computer. An assessment, including an additional confidential chat before entry is offered. Learners should expect to meet general entry requirements. We also offer Peer Mentoring by high achieving students as additional support. |

Several times a year, parents/guardians are invited to attend Consultation evenings to discuss with subject teachers the progress of their child. CounsellingThe staff at Coulsdon Sixth Form College are always willing to listen and support you and there is a confidential counseling service for those times when you may want extra support, help or just to 'offload' any worries you may have. |
