One teacher, 24 Students, 24 Sports, 24 hours, one objective...

...to raise money for Sports Relief

Coulsdon Sixth Form College Sports BTEC National Diploma pushed themselves to the limits of their physical capabilities for Sports Relief.

They played 24 sports in 24 hours starting from 8am on Friday 19 March to 8am Saturday 20 March. Sports included volleyball, cricket, football and tennis as well as some less traditional sports such as Wii sports, handball and lacrosse.

Jason Gentles, Sports teacher said ‘The students came up with the idea of 24 sports in 24 hours for Sports Relief and asked if it would be possible to do it at college. It was a great idea and a brilliant way of raising money – over £1300 was raised and we still have money coming in’.
