Playing for Great Britain and England

At only 17 Laura Price is the youngest player in the national Great Britain Ice Hockey team.

Laura is currently studying for a BTEC National Sport Diploma at Coulsdon Sixth Form College. She combines her studies with playing for local teams, the Streatham Redskins and Streatham Bruins and twice monthly trains with the GB national team. Hopefully, Laura will continue to represent Great Britain at the student Olympics in 2011 in Turkey and at the Winter Olympics in 2014.

And Coulsdon Sixth Form College sporting success doesn’t stop there.

Both Natalie Babalola-Davies, 17 and Sevian Witter, 16 have been selected for the England under 18 Basketball squad. Natalie has been playing in a league for 2 years and Sevian for 1. Their first international game is Romania this summer.

Both students are in their first year at Coulsdon Sixth Form College - Natalie is studying for the Sports Science National Award along with the Community Sports Leader Award and Sevian is studing for a BTEC First Sports Diploma. They are both members of the female Basketball Academy at Coulsdon.
