Coulsdon Sixth Form College
Reigate and Coulsdon sixth form colleges are forming a new partnership Reigate and Coulsdon sixth form colleges announced today that they are to form a new partnership. Reigate's sixth form college has been graded "outstanding" by Ofsted since 2005 whilst their counterparts in Coulsdon have faced problems since the opening of school sixth forms across Croydon. The two colleges will form a Federation with Reigate College providing strategic leadership and management as part of a plan to significantly improve the fortunes of their new partners. |
Steve Oxlade, Principal of Reigate College and Executive Principal of the new Federation commented on why the two colleges have chosen to work together: "I feel that together we can guarantee an outstanding sixth form education for students who live anywhere between South Croydon and Horley. Coulsdon has probably the best accommodation and resources of any sixth form in the south east. I think parents and students will soon see how much better an education they will receive compared to staying on at school." |
