The course is made up of seventeen units five core units which everyone takes
and twelve specialist units of your own choice. The core unit in Studio
Production (Major Project) counts as two units. The specialist units enable you
to study particular areas in depth. The Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma is equivalent to
three A Levels which means when you have finished the course you can choose
whether to get a job straight away or go into Higher Education first. Students
go into careers such as Music Management, Teaching, Performance and
Production.
