CREATIVE MEDIA PRODUCTION

Although the focus of this course is video and audio, it nevertheless provides an entry route for employment or further study in most areas of the Media industry.

The Extended Diploma focuses mostly on practical work but also has theoretical classroom based units. There are no formal exams and you learn by completing projects and assignments. The course specializes in video and audio within the media industry. Therefore the focus will be on different elements of radio and video production such as music videos, news and drama. Students will have the opportunity to work on industry standard software and equipment, including a radio studio. The course is equivalent to three A levels.
