Army FE Bursary Scheme
Coulsdon Sixth Form College is now part of The British Army Further Education Bursary Scheme, a new initiative aimed at helping young adults in the 16-32 age group prepare for a career in the Army. This new programme financially rewards students for attending College, completing a relevant vocational qualification and pursuing a career in the Army at the end of their time at college. The scheme will support learners who are undertaking full Level 2 or Level 3 vocational programmes in a range of occupational sectors. ![]() |
At Coulsdon Sixth Form College students could study BTEC courses such as Administration, Business Management, Health and Social Care, ICT, Media and Communications, Public Services, and Sport. Those selected to be award holders will receive £1,000 for each year of their studies at College (subject to meeting commitments), then a further £1,000 upon completionof Army basic training. Whilst at College, the Army will help prepare students with work experience and an Army contact will be on hand throughout to mentor each bursar.
